Family Reunion

We had a great time visiting with family members at a reunion this past weekend. Reid had the most fun of all of us. The weather was beautiful...it was a great day to be outside playing! One of our activities included MANY trips down the slide.


MeMe had to show Reid how it was done first.

After we managed to get MeMe unstuck, Reid took off!

One thing Aunt Sandra always makes sure of is that all the children present at the reunion have a toy to take home with them at the end of the day. The toys are always age and gender appropriate because she always makes this special effort. This year Reid decided that he didn't care for the toy he had gotten but rather liked this huge red ball that someone else had received. I'm not even sure who it belonged to, but he kind of took over it. He loved it and played with it until he was worn out!

My favorite moment of the day was when Reid took my suggestion to "stop and smell the roses"!

After a long day of fun in the sun, I captured this cute shot of Reid (just about to fall asleep) on Daddy's shoulders. We were all ready for a nap at this point!!
